Laughing Starfish Jewelery

Microbiobouquet

This necklace features a really lovely borosilicate lampwork centerpiece by local master artisan, Julio Ray of Redside Designs of Julio's own abstract murrine like floating flowers over a opal blue green, with drops of clear to magnify the murrine, slightly flattened, and opal purple gem dots. In an organic disc shape. It is surrounded by deep blue swirled borosilicate donut beads which have been deeply encased in clear for depth, with some ruby red quartz and faceted glass beads in purple and deep red hues, with some little silver accents.
The loop is double-strung with strong nylon coated wire and hanging from a satin cord which closes with a lobster-claw clasp that has a teeny starfish charm accent.

Borosilicate glass is a special kind of glass which is actually more durable than normal glass - it is the same kind used in Pyrex and is less dense than ordinary glass and it also requires a much higher temperature to melt compared to ordinary silicate glass.

Necklace also looks great on a chocolate brown, navy blue, or burgundy cord. Just let me know by adding a Note To Seller when purchasing if you want a color of cord other than the black shown here!
