Laughing Starfish Jewelery

Jeweled Urchin

This necklace features a gorgeous borosilicate lampwork centerpiece which features a desert sand yellow base with random crazy bumps, in pinks, yellows, blues, greens and more.. It is the work of master artisan, Kristan Child of Redside Designs and is surrounded by swirled borosilicate donut beads of teal blue, mixed green, and cinnamon red hues which have been deeply encased in clear for depth, with some warm Carnelian gemstones, fuchsia pink and faceted sand hued glass beads, highly faceted rutilated quartz, and some little silver accents.
The loop is double-strung with strong nylon coated wire and hanging from a satin cord which closes with a lobster-claw clasp that has a teeny starfish charm accent.

Borosilicate glass is a special kind of glass which is actually more durable than normal glass - it is the same kind used in Pyrex and is less dense than ordinary glass and it also requires a much higher temperature to melt compared to ordinary silicate glass.

Necklace also looks great on a navy blue or burgundy cord, or even chocolate brown, tan, or emerald green...pretty much any color, actually! Just let me know by adding a Note To Seller when purchasing if you want a color of cord other than the black shown here!
