Laughing Starfish Jewelery

Biologique

This loop pendant features a really neat and unique borosilicate glass Amoeba bead of deep red hues with little pod stickers across both sides. It is the work of a local lampwork artisan named Jenny Friske-Baer, and it is surrounded by a mix of lovely ruby red quartz stones and faceted Czech glass beads, with some rusty red borosilicate donut beads which have been deeply encased in clear for depth, and some little silver accents.
The loop is double-strung with strong nylon coated wire and hanging from a satin cord which closes with a lobster-claw clasp that has a teeny starfish charm accent.

Borosilicate glass is a special kind of glass which is actually more durable than normal glass - it is the same kind used in Pyrex and is less dense than ordinary glass and it also requires a much higher temperature to melt compared to ordinary silicate glass.

Looks super on a chocolate brown or burgundy red cord too - just let me know in Notes To Seller if you want it on a color other than the black shown here when purchasing.
