Nigerian Raspberry
This piece is reserved for Jon - please do not purchase it unless you are him!
This pendant features a neat borosilicate glass bead at the center which has been hand formed by artisan lampworker Angie Pendleton to resemble a stone in deep garnet, green, khaki, cream, and a touch of purple, and lightly encased in clear for depth. It is surrounded by vintage and Czech faceted glass beads of deep red hues with little silver accents.
The loop is double-strung with strong nylon coated wire and hanging from a satin cord which closes with a lobster-claw clasp that has a teeny starfish charm accent.
Borosilicate glass is a special kind of glass which is actually more durable than normal glass - it is the same kind used in Pyrex and is less dense than ordinary glass and it also requires a much higher temperature to melt compared to ordinary silicate glass.
Necklace also looks great on chocolate brown cord - just let me know in Notes To Seller if you want it on a color of cord other than the black shown here!
The last photo is a photo of the actual necklace for now available - picture quality is not so good : my light is bad today (rain rain rain!)
