Laughing Starfish Jewelery

Daylight's Last Rays

A lovely amber-purple borosilicate glass bead by lampwork artisan Pat Redinger shimmers at the center of this loop pendant, surrounded by warm Carnelian gemstones, neat swirled golden-amber borosilicate glass donut beads that have been deeply encased in clear for depth, and with some little silver accents.
The loop is double-strung with strong nylon coated wire and hanging from a satin cord which closes with a lobster-claw clasp that has a teeny starfish charm accent.

Necklace also looks great on a black, tan, or even burgundy red cord - let me know in Notes To Seller if you want it on a different color than the brown shown here when ordering.

Borosilicate glass is a special kind of glass which is actually more durable than normal glass - it is the same kind used in Pyrex and is less dense than ordinary glass and it also requires a much higher temperature to melt compared to ordinary silicate glass.
