Down the Milky Way
A lovely glass bead by lampwork artisan Pat Redinger features soft translucent lavender under a crystal clear borosilicate encasement that adds size a sparkle shimmers at the center of this loop pendant, surrounded by super fun milky opalite glass beads, neat swirled iridescent violet borosilicate glass donut beads that have been deeply encased in clear for depth, some tiny sparkling glass beads, and some little silver accents.
The loop is double-strung with strong nylon coated wire and hanging from a satin cord which closes with a lobster-claw clasp that has a teeny starfish charm accent.
Necklace also looks great on a black, tan, or even navy blue cord - let me know in Notes To Seller if you want it on a different color than the brown shown here when ordering.
Borosilicate glass is a special kind of glass which is actually more durable than normal glass - it is the same kind used in Pyrex and is less dense than ordinary glass and it also requires a much higher temperature to melt compared to ordinary silicate glass.
