Laughing Starfish Jewelery

Water Worlds

Fabulous deeply encased sparkling blues and teals shimmer under deep layers of clear borosilicate glass in the focal bead at the center of this loop pendant, the work of lampwork artisan Brandie Rosenberry. It is surrounded by more encased borosilicate glass swirled beads in deep blue and teal green hues with silver accents and is double-strung with strong nylon coated wire and hanging from a satin cord which closes with a lobster-claw clasp that has a teeny starfish charm accent.

Borosilicate glass is a special kind of glass which is actually more durable than normal glass - it is the same kind used in Pyrex and is less dense than ordinary glass and it also requires a much higher temperature to melt compared to ordinary silicate glass.

Necklace also looks great on navy blue cord - just let me know in Notes To Seller if you want it on a color of cord other than the black shown here!
