Laughing Starfish Jewelery

Country Charm

The focal bead used in this loop pendant is really spectacular. It's a watery luscious summer garden of organic borosilicate glass - with deeply encased reddish burgundy sunflowers over green fields. The bead is irregularly shaped for added interest - the work of artisan lampworker Rose of Rosebeads-n-Bottles. It is surrounded by surrounded by swirled borosilicate donut beads encased in clear for depth of rusty red hues, and some iridescent green and pomegranate and fuscia red and green glass beads, with little silver accents.
The loop is double-strung with strong nylon coated wire and hanging from a satin cord which closes with a lobster-claw clasp that has a teeny starfish charm accent.

Borosilicate glass is a special kind of glass which is actually more durable than normal glass - it is the same kind used in Pyrex and is less dense than ordinary glass and it also requires a much higher temperature to melt compared to ordinary silicate glass.

This necklace also looks superb on the magenta/burgundy red cording, so if you'd prefer a color other than the black shown here, just let me know by adding a Note To Seller at checkout time when purchasing.
