Euphoria

Euphoria: the state of intense, transcendent happiness combined with an overwhelming sense of well being. They are fleeting moments that stay with us forever. Wouldn't it be lovely to carry a piece of that with us always?

I love the focal bead used in this loop pendant. It's a watery swirled luscious rainbow - a borosilicate glass beauty by Rose of Rosebeads-n-Bottles. It is surrounded by surrounded by swirled multi-colored borosilicate donut beads encased in clear for depth, and some teal-blue and pomegranate fuschia toned glass beads, with little silver accents.
The loop is double-strung with strong nylon coated wire and hanging from a satin cord which closes with a lobster-claw clasp that has a teeny starfish charm accent.

Borosilicate glass is a special kind of glass which is actually more durable than normal glass - it is the same kind used in Pyrex and is less dense than ordinary glass and it also requires a much higher temperature to melt compared to ordinary silicate glass.
