Hypnogogia

Hypnogogia describes those vivid dreamlike auditory, visual, or tactile sensations which are often experienced when waking up ... those first few moments of rational waking cognition when you're still trying to make sense of non-linear images and associations - not quite yet brought back to earthly realities and still swimming in those vivid sensations.

I love the focal bead used in this loop pendant. It's a watery swirled luscious rainbow - a borosilicate glass beauty by Rose of Rosebeads-n-Bottles. It is surrounded by surrounded by swirled multi-colored borosilicate donut beads encased in clear for depth, and some purple and blue toned glass beads, with little silver accents.
The loop is double-strung with strong nylon coated wire and hanging from a satin cord which closes with a lobster-claw clasp that has a teeny starfish charm accent.

Borosilicate glass is a special kind of glass which is actually more durable than normal glass - it is the same kind used in Pyrex and is less dense than ordinary glass and it also requires a much higher temperature to melt compared to ordinary silicate glass.
