This loop pendant features a really interesting blue-green borosilicate focal bead by lampwork artisan Brandie Rosenberry of deep blue with striations of greens and khaki and some light satiny blue shimmer. It is surrounded by more boro glass donut beads and more fine glass beads in various green and blue hues with little silver accents.
The loop is double-strung with strong nylon coated wire and hanging from a satin cord which closes with a lobster-claw clasp that has a teeny starfish charm accent.
Cording also has silver accents and blue-green and light and dark blue swirled borosilicate beads encased in clear for depth surrounding the pendant.

Borosilicate glass is a special kind of glass which is actually more durable than normal glass - it is the same kind used in Pyrex and is less dense than ordinary glass and it also requires a much higher temperature to melt compared to ordinary silicate glass.
