OCTOPUS!!
I caught myself exclaiming with glee when I ran across this fabulously original lampwork glass bead by Thailand glass artist Pikalda Phuengpong! Here is a very much adorable little orange octopus, wrapped around a lovely little heart - like a big many-handed hug!
The focal bead here is surrounded by a lovely mix of finely faceted rutelated quartz with silver accents.
The loop is double-strung with strong nylon coated wire and hanging from a satin cord which closes with a lobster-claw clasp that has a teeny starfish charm accent.
The necklace looping is sturdy as always, but if you've got a serious yanker, bear in mind that the focal bead on this one is glass and won't be able to sustain shocks like smashing against anything hard, so as for the nursing necklace strength, bear that in mind when buying if you've got a baby who is a particularly active grabber and smasher. This one may be better suited when baby is a bit past the trying-to-break-your-glasses distraction.
